Background Building Activities
Activity 1:
Unit A of the training manual you received (Adobe Dreamweaver CS6, Illustrated Series) will be used to guide you through the process of previewing the Dreamweaver CS6 software. On pages Dreamweaver 1 through Dreamweaver 19 you will be guided through the process by previewing a website for one of our clients, The Striped Umbrella. The student files needed for this activity can be found in the Dreamweaver Student Files folder that you copied to your computer at the beginning of the course. You can also download them to your computer from the Student Resources section. When you reach Steps 4 and 5 on page16, do not Print to your printer. Instead, hold down the FN key on the bottom row of your keyboard and press the Prt Scr key on the top row of you keyboard at the same time. When you are finished, find this assignment in your Google Classroom. Open a Google doc and paste this screen capture into the document. Include any questions you might have had as you worked through these pages then select TURN IN. Please email your mentor with the Subject Line "Request for Help" if you need additional assistance.
Activity 2:
After completing pages Dreamweaver 1 through Dreamweaver 19 preview the website for a second client Blooms and Bulbs. The Skills Review on pages Dreamweaver 21 and Dreamweaver 22 will guide you through the process. The student files needed for this activity can be found in the Dreamweaver Student Files folder that you copied to your computer at the beginning of the course. You can also download them to your computer from the Student Resources section. When you reach Step 8d, do not Print to your printer. Instead, hold down the FN key on the bottom row of your keyboard and press the Prt Scr key on the top row of you keyboard at the same time.When you are finished, find this assignment in your Google Classroom. Open a Google doc and paste this screen capture into the document. Include any questions you might have had as you worked through these pages then select TURN IN. Please email your mentor with the Subject Line "Request for Help" if you need additional assistance.
Activity 3:
After previewing the Striped Umbrella and Blooms and Bulbs websites check your understanding of the software by completing the concepts review on pages Dreamweaver 20 and Dreamweaver 21. Find this assignment in your Google Classroom. Open a Google doc and record your answers. When you are finished select TURN IN.
